I know. Anyway, when I asked to "someone" to draw them, she asked me how they looked like. I told her: "They transform into hearses, and their helms are similar to the Bayformer Jazz." Eventually, the drawing turned out like this [link] IMHO, they look a bit too similar to Jazz than I intended. <.<;; So I'm thinking to change their armour plates in order to match this hearse better [link]
P.S.: I've not been the only to think about a TF that turns into a hearse [link]
I see your point with the heads. When you feel up to it experimenting with their appearance might do some good.
I can't believe I forgot about Repo.
That's a rather new version of the vehicle. The ones I've seen tend to be more blocky. The choice of alt modes might depend on what universe they will reside in. If they accompanied the original Autobots their alt mode would most likely be older models of cars. If they came to Earth after the space bridge was built/repaired then you could choose newer alt modes. (Typhon and Phobos are newer alt modes due to going to Earth at a later time; Typhon hop-scotched through planets) (Or whatever you choose to do is fine. I'm really picky with my characters)

I've been running my account since 2007 and I've figured the cases with art theft are getting complicated.
I agree that copyrighting a pose is impossible, since it depends on sources used. There's nothing bad in using works drawn by someone else for practicing, unless it's not cheap recolour or simply redrawn pic.
When I read the article you gave in artist comments, it reminded me situations common amongst anime/manga fan clubs. They often have issues between them about copyrights. xD
2007 you too? *checks it quickly* Wow, your account is only 17 days older than mine!
Anyway, DA is currently dealing with art theft in an interesting way, especially if it's about fanarts: they take the image down only if the original artist complains about the theft to their admins/mods. At the same time, every member can still report screenshots and such.
*lol* I wouldn't be surprised; some anime/manga's styles look literally the same, so one character may end up looking like another, even if in a not intentional way.
Yeah. -.- I've seen already people coplaining about their OCs being stolen by someone else; whenever I had the chance to check it by myself, I could see that the most of those "stolen" characters had almost nothing in common with the OC of the other artist. It may happen that an OC has the same colours as another (just think at all those BMFM OCs, since colour options are kind of limited in this fandom), or the same shape of helm (TFs fandom; this happen often when one or more OCs have a few features based off a canon), but these features alone do not mean that the other artist has stolen an existing OC.
